Top 10 Emergency Beauty Substitutes

Once in a while we all run out of our essential beauty products. Don't Panic!!! Here are some simple beauty substitutes that you can use.

1. Forgot your lipstick! You can mix your blush or light shade eyeshadow with vaseline and use it as a lipstick and we all know even reverse is possible, you can use your lipstick as a blush.

2. If you don't have a lip liner, take a cotton bud and dab it in a lipstick shade you want to apply ( you can also use a lipstick that is one shade darker from the one you are going to apply but if you don't have even the same lipstick will work but dab a little extra) then line it evenly at corners and edges of your lips.

3. Having a bad hair day! Apply some moisturizer on your hair like a serum or defrizz. It works wonder for dry and frizzy hair.

4. Don't have a shower gel or a bathing soap ( I get into such situations especially while traveling), you can use your shampoo and wash your body with it. You will love it! You can even do the reverse if you forget your shampoo, use your shower gel and then apply a hair conditioner.

5. Especially during winters, if you don't have a lip balm you can use eye cream or a moisturizer as a lip balm.

6. If you don't have an eyeliner, take a thin brush, dip it in water and then dab on it a dark eyeshadow and apply it as an eyeliner.

7. If your toothpaste is over, make a paste of baking powder by adding some water and dab it on your toothbrush and use it.

8. Want to shave your legs and don't have a shaving cream, then try using a hair conditioner. It gives you smoother after shave skin.

9. If you don't have a mascara, then dab some vaseline on your eyelashes. If you have an eyelash curler, you can use that and then apply some vaseline for a long lasting effect.

10. No hair conditioner, try using milk, it conditions your hair just like a conditioner.
